Why are they interested in these things? Because it helps them to understand who THEY are and where they came from. It gives them a sense of belonging, and helps them relate to us. It makes us more real to them, and brings us closer. There is a beautiful template in the Gallery to this tune, called "Before I was Your Mother" It is a great way to tell your kids the story of YOU!

Simple to create, this project is a template in the Template Gallery at http://www.simplestorybooks.com/. You can do this, and I would be glad to help.
There is also a more masculine version of the template for men, entitled "Before I Was Your Dad" Just search for "cornerstone" or "mom" or "dad" in the template gallery for other options in this area. Have fun! And remember a template is totally manipulative, so you can change or add to it in any way that suits your needs. Most of all, HAVE FUN!
